GreggyS
Hi, I'm not really sure if this is the right place for this post, but I am thinking about installing leo on a laptop I got off a friend, but ideneb didnt work and leo4all v3 had limited functionality. SO I was wondering if it would be possible to run a retail version of leo along with boot 132 method. The thing is that the laptop has an ati x200m GP and ati sb450. Also it has a sata hdd. My question, therefore, is whether it is fisable to install any distro of leo on this laptop (cf full specs at the end of the post)? I have done some research and I know that it's impossible to get QE working with this card, however resolution change is possible with callisto. Furthermore, how do I get around the SATA issue with the retail dvd? Other drivers as weel. Bottom line, is it worth the trouble? Specs of the laptop Packard Bell Easy Note MZ 35 Intel Celeron M 410 (1,46 GHz) 896 MB DDR2 667 RAM Ati Radeon Xpress 200m/1100m series (0x5A62) Northbridge ATI RC410M Southbridge ATI SB450 Qcom 802.11g Wireless Network Adapter Realtek ALC 862 I would appreciate any help I can get in my predicament.
