RobD
I want to replace my older Pentium D 805 with a newer vanilla compatible E5200 (a smallish proc. but in these financially challenging times, it's cheaper price makes it more attractive). My question is do I have to change anything in my OSX install before changing the proc.? Can I just swap them around and everything will boot up fine? If so, can I update to 10.5.7 through Apple safely without modding anything? I'm on a XxX 10.5.6 install, (can't remember which kernel, but not vanilla).
