jano06
Hi, New to the insanelymac forum, I'm trying to install Mac OS X on my Acer X1700. Here's my config : http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/3699/confige.jpg I used dual boot with easyBCD, used iDeneb 10.5.6 and the installation process went very well (I reached a nice screen with installation completed) but when rebooting from the hard drive, I always get the same last message when using verbose mode. ... Mac framework successfully initialized Using 16384 buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers The boot sequence hangs at this stage. I know this is a classic but all topics I read are unclear. I tried -v -f etc..., sleep kernel, changing BIOS settings, upgrading BIOS. No luck I have three questions : - Why is the boot sequence stopping at this stage ? - What hardware device or chip is causing this problem ? - Is there a tool to check what's wrong with my setup ? Cheers, Jano Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/169510-osx64-on-acer-x1700-problem/ Share on other sites
