Hi, After installing perfected with X11 checked (Without it the install doesn't even get to the apple loading screen it just restarts) it loads up the apple loading screen after a bit a circle with a line through it (Error Sign) shows on the apple. When entering verbose mode it gets stuck on Still Waiting for Root Device.

These are my computers specs (I need any patches please tell me cause I have no idea)

Intel Celeron D (Wikipedia says it support SSE3 (Something like that)

Processor 330

2.66 GHz

533 MHz FSB

Intel Extreme Graphics 3D

40GB Harddrive

Ultra DMA/100

5USB Ports

DVD+/- RW 8x Max.

Media Reader 8 in 1

Intel PRO 10/100 LAN for Connectivity to Broadband Cable/DSL

256 Mb DDR for optimised performance

56k ITU v.92

I'll go through what I did,

  1. Put iDeneb v1.3 10.5.5 disc into my disc drive.
  2. Pressed any key then typed -v to enter verbose mode.
  3. Clicked Next
  4. Clicked - Utilities - Something Utility (The one where you sort out your harddrive)
  5. Clicked on my HardDrive then - Erase - Mac OS Extended (Journaled) - Set to MBR - Apply
  6. Click on the Partition Tab, Then Selected 1 Partition, Named It, Apply
  7. Closed Utility
  8. Click Continue - Agree
  9. Clicked on the Mac OS X Harddrive - Continue
  10. Clicked Customise
  11. Checked X11 (I tried without this before and it just restarted continuously before event he Apple loading screen)
  12. Install
  13. All Done
  14. Restart Computer - Take Disc Out - Restart Computer
  15. Starts - Fails on apple loading screen (-v gets stuck on Still waiting for Root Device all others -f -x get stuck on the failed apple screen to)

Please Help Me

I Thank Anyone who 1 has read this and 2 will help me.

Kieran
