So, here we are. I installed the retail Leo copy and I have an iDeneb distro installed as backup. Everything works, but I have two problems:

the first one is that on the retail I don't have access to some keyboard layout options under International in Sys Preferences. I'm posting two pics so you can understand what I am talking about.

On the left is iDeneb, on the right Retail leopard. It's in Italian but I think it's clear what I am missing.

This ain't such a big issue, but if you know how to solve it let me know.

NOW to the second one, which is real big trouble. I use Maya 2008, which uses the ethernet mac address to convalidate the license and let the software run. For some reason, under iDeneb it works, under Retail it doesn't. I'll post some screens: one is the Maya software which checks the mac adress, the other is Sys. Profiler.

No Hardware shown under Retail!!! Damn!

Under retail the ehternet is shown as "ethernet adapter". That seems to be the issue. Do you think this can be solved? Might it be due to kext differences? I rellay need this software to work, therefore any help is appreciated!

I'll ask fore some help about this issue in the Network section too.

Thanks in advance

Maya Network Related Issue solved by copying IOnetworkFamily.kext from iDeneb and installing it on Retail.

Seems to work fine.

Still looking for a solution about the Internationl Keybord problem!

EDIT: International Problem's solution found here, in case somebody needs it :thumbsup_anim:
