hogo_fogo
Hello All, I've installed iPC 10.5.6 with kernel 9.5.0 VooDoo Kernel with custom installation: MB (Asus A8V-E deluxe, Saphire ATI 1800 GTO video) chipset: VIA/SIS/MARVELL/SB audio: AC97 ethernet Marvell Yukon 88E8039/8053 usb: Patched USB Drivers fixes: ACPI Fix, CPUS=1 One Core Fix, Verbose Mode applications: Marvin's AMD Utility, Perian, Universal OSX86 installer Current problems: audio and ethernet does not work. I can get my PC to boot completely if I use -f at boot prompt. If I let it boot without specifying '-f' I get 'kernel panic' and PC freezes. Questions: where can I upload a screen shot of the kernel panic at boot? (Instructions are to email screen shot to kernel development team) Why -f helps? How to configure the boot process so '-f' does not have to be set every time PC starts? Thank you for your time. hogo_fogo Without '-f' at boot: With '-f' at boot: http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/4927/works001.jpg Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/169242-ipc-1056-asus-a8v-e-deluxe-kernel-panic-if-f-not-used-at-boot/ Share on other sites
