ylafont
Hello All, want to thank everyone for the support, I am new to osx86 (and unix) and need some guidance in setting up this os. I installed Kalyway 10.5.1 and upgraded to 10.5.7 on an LENOVO T60 type 2623-d6U. I believe everything to be working with the exception of the wireless network. One of my problems. - When I modify /private/etc/profile with custom environment variables for command line appearances and alias. USB devices such hard drives/mouse etc.. do not auto-mount, the only way they are recognized is with a reboot. Currently I have Darwin kernel version 9.7.0 and have read on this forum than the kernel and system.ketx must be the same version. Currently my system.kext is 9.2.0 (is that correct?) if so were can I find system.kext that is equivalent to the kernel version i have? Also, are there novice instruction on how to update .ketx files somewhere?
