xxtoni Posted June 2, 2009 Share Posted June 2, 2009 Greetings I am trying to install Ideneb 1.4 on my Dell Precision 690 Everything works fine until i get to the Partition Utility,there i dont see any drives In BIOS ACHI is set and i really dont know what do to,reading forums for the past 5 days...nothing works Would it help to use another distro ? Another thing is the Dell uses SCSI could that be the problem,and if so, how would could i solve it ? I really want to use MacOSX because i have problems with Vista and i do a lot of designing with Photoshop,Illustrator,Flash... All of your advice is welcome EDIT: I noticed that this might be too little info so i looked a bit over Dells website and found something: Intel 5000X chipset Xeon Quad-Core 2.33 4GB FB-DIMM RAM Nvidia Quadro-FX 3500 Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) LSI 1068 SAS/SATA Well thats about all i found...if you need any other info i will tommorow look what DVD and HDD model is in there...
