shawk1
I've been having trouble booting to disc on my Dell Precision 650. Whenever I try to boot to my iDeneb disc it gives me the "strike f1 to retry boot f2 for setup utility" error message. I've been able to boot (probably 1 in 10 times) if I open the DVD tray, close it, wait several seconds (3-5 seconds), and strike f1 to retry the boot. Starting today, however, it will no longer boot at all. It will simply beep twice and display the same "strike f1 to retry boot f2 for setup utility" error message. Does anyone have any ideas? My Dell specs are as follows: 1290 MB RAM (2 512MB and 2 128MB dims) nVidia 7300GT AGP 20 GB ATA HD (set to cable select) DVD ROM set to master all PCI slots empty Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/168569-problems-booting/ Share on other sites
