I'm currently working on installing iDeneb 10.5.6 on the Acer Aspire x1700.

Intel Core2Duo 2.66 GHz

4 GB of DDR2 667/800 MHz

NVIDIA® GeForce® 7100 and nForce® 630i

NVIDIA NForce MCP61 692 BGA + SIO ITE8718F

Embedded high-definition audio with 5.1-channel surround sound support

S/PDIF (Sony/Philips Digital Interface) support

Discrete NVIDIA® GeForce® G100

Serial ATA hard disk

Gigabit Ethernet

Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/Draft-N

I've been working on this system a bt now, and have tried various installation options.

booting with -v I usually get "waiting for boot device UUID.." errors, kernal panics, or the frame buffer one.

When I get this working I will post the configuration that worked. If anyone else is setting up this system, or has successfully installed iDeneb on this computer, I would love your input.

Thanks a bunch, and good luck to us all.
