Hello,

For first I'm posting my specs:

Shuttle SG31G2

Core 2 Duo E8500

2x2Gb 800Mhz DDR2, Corsair

embedded video,

some IDE DVD-DL RW

SATA2 Seagate HD, 250Gb

Old IDE Seagate HD, 80Gb

PS/2 mouse and keyboard

USB:

D-Link DWA-140 Wireless-N adapter,

Mobidick bluetooth

Wacom Bamboo A6 (the black one)

Old IDE 2,5" 160Gb HD via IDE2USB Bridge

Few months ago I had a working Kalyway 10.5.2 with everything working except Quarz, Core Image and Time Machine. But I was dumb enough one time and clicked "ok" on the annoying combo-update window. All the hell broke loose and since then, I've reinstalled my WinXP 64bit and never used OSX anymore. Later I've installed Win7, although its nice, but I still want to use OSX. When using Win7 I was dumb enough again to convert the last 2 FAT32 partitions into NTFS. I can't reformat them because of lots of vital data there.

I want to have both of my Windows installs intact, while also adding a Leo. Currently there's a Windows 7 bootloader, but I don't care which one to use. I want the one that will work.

I have almost empty 160Gb USB HD formatted in FAT32 - I could easily make a partition there in HFS+ with enough space for Leopard. So, I want some sort of advice on installing Retail Leopard with boot 1-2-3 on a USB HD and how to make it boot from it in Shuttle BIOS. I've searched on Sudhian forums (there's a large Shuttle community) about booting from usb hard disks with no luck.

Maybe I should consider buying an IDE 2 Firewire harddisk shell? Or IDE 2,5" to 3,5" and install the HD as internal, install OSX and get it back to USB shell?

Many thanks in advance,

Mushbird
