vmware & ideneb 10.5.6 - freezes upon restart

Hello:

 

I have a PC and I tried to install iDeneb 10.5.6 using vmware 6.5.2. The installation went fine, however, upon restart, the system freezes showing the apple logo and a weird stop sign on the top of the apple leaf (the stop sign appears later after 30-60s).

 

Any ideas? My cpu is a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9300, motherboard ASUS.
