xieandy Posted May 27, 2009 Share Posted May 27, 2009 hihi, im new to this, so just bear with me heres my full spec: CPU- INTEL CORE 2 QUAD Q6600 2.4GHZ MOBO- ASUS P5Q PRO CHIPSET- INTEL EAGLELAKE P45 RAM- 4G DDR2(2X2G) HDD- SEAGATE 750GB 7200 RPM SATA-ii vdc- xfx nvidia geforce 260gtx 896mb ddr3 previously ive been having trouble loading the disk, right when it turns into the apple screen it restarts, but i fixed it by flashing my bios with a moded rom. now i am having trouble with starting it after installation...it says still waiting for root device when i boot it with -v i am currently using iPC_OSx86_10_5_6_Universal_PPF5_Final, tried the chipset patch of ICHX for all intel still same problem... anyone can help?
