sebseb7
Hi, since I have upgraded to 10.5.7 vmware and parallels do no longer work. The guest OS is very slow and they use 100% CPU all the time, even if the guest os is idle. This also happens with Sun VirtualBox. What happend? Thank you ! /sebastian Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/168082-vmware-parallels-at-100-cpu-since-1057-upgrade/ Share on other sites
megalon
Hang in there its a well known bug for hack/mac users who are running 10.5.7. There is hope!! read the thread at the bottom there will be a new parallel update soon http://forum.parallels.com/showthread.php?t=32497 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/168082-vmware-parallels-at-100-cpu-since-1057-upgrade/#findComment-1163970 Share on other sites
bablefish
I had the same problem. Turned out to be a problem with the DSDT.aml i was using. I removed it, rebooted without it, and made a new DSDT.aml. Now both parallels and VmWare works as expected.
