fairlie
Hello - first post here - great site by the way. Here's the lowdown... I am running on a VIA VT8237 motherboard using DeadMoo's image. I basically am a complete newbie to Mac OS X. I tried installing a .kext which apparently made it stereo as apposed to mono as it was before. That completely failed and decided to delete the .kext and ask here before I start messing about some more. Basically I am asking for a direct link to the .kext I need and any thing I need to do specifically - anything in terminal etc. Thanks alot in advanced. Hope to hear from you soon! ThomasR
Deadmoo is 10.4.1, right? Have you tried later releases already? I don't recall the Deadmoo to be very stable or fast. Maybe that will give you better results with your sound card. Anyway, there should be all default .kext's on the DVD image, just search for them. fairlie
Okay will try to upgrade now... I am first trying 10.4.5 and then if that is okay I will go to 10.4.6 - I use a SSE2 proccessor - what would my situation be with 10.4.5?
