homibaez Posted May 26, 2009 Share Posted May 26, 2009 I have a iMac bundled copy but on the DVD says FOR MAC COMPUTERS its 10.5 this copy loads perfect but I get the message MAC OS CANNOT BE INSTALLED ON THIS COMPUTER, so i patched with brazilmac and I receive a Kernel Panic (Which I'll Post Later On) and it doesnt even reach the installer, I see the apple logo but then it shows the restart message. Whats easier, to get another distro or install Tiger 10.4.8 (JAS) or simply modifie the os install.mpkg distribution file so that it can be installed on an unsupportes system?. Gateway MX6216 Intel Celeron (M) 420 @ 1.60Ghz (mmx, sse, sse2, sse3) 533mhz FSB 512mb ddr2 ram Intel Chipset i943/940GML (ICH7-M/U) Any Help Is Greatly Apreciated!
