Cody-7 Posted May 26, 2009 Share Posted May 26, 2009 Hi all, I'm trying to install Kalyway 10.5.2 however I receive an error that the essentials package failed verification. The DVD was burned at 2x, and passed the verification check so I have no reason to believe something is wrong with the DVD. A post In this thread mentioned that installing from a USB key might circumvent this problem because it is much faster. I have a tool for formatting my USB key to boot, but I cannot extract the contents of the Kalyway image... I've tried MagicISO but I get errors even if I choose not to include the HFS+ specific files. Is there any way I can do this without having a mac? I mean, if I had a Mac i probably wouldn't be sitting here spending hours installing Leopard on a PC.
