Humm... forum database corrupted and no post.

So, going again!

 

First, hello to old friends. Come again here looking for help in my rig, using AMD and Asus with Nvidia.

 

Distro: OSX 10.5.6 iPC PPF4

 

Hardware:

Asus M2N32Wifi-Deluxe

NVIDIA Geforce 9800GTX 512mb

Phenom II i810 X4

160Gb Sata Harddrive

Sata DVD drive

USB Mouse

PS/2 Keyboard

 

So, running all fine, just 3 little problems:

9800 GTX: no QE enabled. Tryed all methods. Just the PCWiz installer run ok, but with no QE enabled. Just to inform, recognizer like a 9800GTX DDL. If this help someone.

 

Sata DVD drive: recognize all disc like empty discs

 

PS/2 keyboard: no way to make it work.

 

Thanks in advance for the answers. I look in the forum in the last 6 days, but no way to make it work.

Ok... no one come here just to say: i don't know.

So, people... again, like my old Acer, i have to stay another 21 days making combinations of distros to find the best to work here. Don't worry, after the sucess, i come here again and post how to make it work to people don't loose time and take the OSX directly on the machine.

P.S.: for the people looking for some info about the X200 Project, who i teach how to make it work in a Acer 5040, there is no way to make it the QE/CI works in that video board.. afte that, i buy a Macbook from the Apple Store.

Just to add some considerations:

Tryed again in a new install the AcquaMac installer. Install ok, rebooted the machine, but, after the Apple logo and a fast blue screen, just my mouse pointer appears in the upper left of the screen. Bootes using -x, remove the kexts, used the PCWiz installer and come back to old way.

If i try using the Efi Studio, OSX 86 or similar, works, reboot but when the desktop appears, i have a big mouse lag... something like 3 ou 4 secons my mouse stopped... keyboard running, but no mouse.
