BlueAngel
Ok thanks, now I tried installing it on my laptop but I didn't get far. Laptop specs: AMD Turion 64 ML-30 1.6GHz (SSE/SSE2/SSE3 has everything needed for OS X) 1GB PC3200 80GB 4200RPM HD 8MB Cache ATi Radeon Xpress 200M w/128MB (DX9) Now when I try to install it I get to the choose optiosn screen aka click enter to install or press F8 to choose advanced options. Well when I just hit enter the apple bootup logo comes on spinning and whatnot and eventually after about 3 minutes you see a sign similar to a no smoking sign with the circle crossed out. I tried doing the advanced diagnostic setep and after it does it's thing it says something down at the bottom about PS2 Keyboard then at the very bottom every min or so it adds a line like "looking for something"... Any ideas? Also tried putting it on my desktop but it won't even boot off the DVD. Specs: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4600+ 2.4GHz 1GB PC3200 2x80GB HD's w/8MB Cache 7200RPM ATi Radeon 7500 w/64MB ASRock ULi DUAL-SATA2 mobo Any ideas? it boots off the XP cd fine. deltatux
I don't know/use the JaS version of MacOS X, but there's a version with a filename: MacOSX_10.4.4DVDPATCHED_Myz.iso should work with AMD. Also, I have heard that you need legacy support for CD and USB to be TURNED OFF. deltatux Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16731-question/#findComment-107875 Share on other sites
