JuzzMann Posted May 20, 2009 Share Posted May 20, 2009 Hey all, I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 and i'm tryin to put 10.5.6 on it. I was advised not to install any video drivers and that the vanilla ones would work, but everytime I install, i end up with a black screen, the only way to bypass this and get to the desktop is if i go into Single user mode and delete all the GMA stuff and the integrated framebuffer. By the way, the sleep trick doesn't work for me....so i put the edited DSDT for my laptop(from a reliable source) into "Macintosh HD" and i still get a black screen upon boot....can somebody please help me?!?!
