n0cud06
hi guys, I though my mounting problem (dmg, sio, dvd mounting "no mountable file systems") was related to 10.5.6 update well its really not - I reinstalled everything and upgrade to 10.5.6 then 10.5.7 and no problems what so ever all my dmg files worked fine. then I went ahead and used migration assistant from my macbook over to my pc and immediately all my problems are back, so obviously something is no compatible and I noticed the library option is grayed out so I couldn't uncheck it. I did made sure both macs were fully updated before transferring files. Any idea anyone please? n0cud06
Transfer the files manually. I tried that and most applications run however the settings are not there maybe because I have two different user names? What are the directories that I need to transfer? I would like to transfer the user settings for all apps if possible Thank you Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/166936-dmg-mount-problem-after-migration-assistant-and-not-after-update/#findComment-1159930 Share on other sites
Beerkex'd
Start looking from the library folder in your user folder and inwards.
