After searching the forums a while i still cant find any solid answers about whether its my gpu or mobo thats keeping leopard from installing.

Heres my setup:

EVGA 750i FTW mobo

Intel Q6600 (stock speed) cpu

ASUS Geforce GTX 280

8GB DDR2 1066 ram

SATA DVD drive

IDE HDD for leopard

I have tried many of the latest releases such as iAtkos 5i, iDeneb 1.4, JaS 10.5.4, leo4all and all get stuck at still waiting for root device or whatever that error is.

The only one thay lets me install it is iPC 10.5.6 PPF5 but after it installs it never boots. The default kernel keeps restarting and others such as voodoo or stage xnu get stuck on what seems to be a network related message (see image below)

I have only picked the following settings:

Kernel -> Voodoo or Stage XNU

Video -> nvinject 1024mb or darwin 1024 (not at the same time)

Audio -> Azalia

Chipset -> AppleNforceATA

Ethernet -> NforceLAN driver by neo

also tried a realtek8139 ethernet card but no difference.

I had Kalyway 10.5.2 installed on this PC but the only difference is that I had the 8800 GTX and now I have the 280 GTX. and it was also installed on a different PC then swapped the HDD. But cant replicate it because I dont remember the settings :)

Is the GTX 280 causing all of this or is the 750i a bad board for a hackintosh (the compat list doesnt say).
