So here's my prospective build-list. I'm planning to dual boot OSX and Win7.

Intel Core i7 920 CPU

Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 CPU Cooler

Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 Motherboard

Corsair Dominator 6GB DD3 1600

Corsair HX1000 PSU

Intel X25-E 64GB SSD boot drive

5x Seagate 1.5TB HDD storage

Antec P183 case

Evga GTX 285 1GB video card

Samsung 22X DVD Burner IDE? SATA?

-Will this configuration work? Will the GTX 285 or will I have to wait until June for that?

-Which burner should I get? IDE or SATA? I'd prefer IDE so I can use all the SATA connections for HDD (otherwise, I'll have to minus one of the planned Seagates)

-Which distro/osx install route is recommended for this config?

Thanks!

Evga GTX 285 1GB video card - Should work (not sure)

Samsung 22X DVD Burner IDE? SATA? - If you buy 6 harddrives, you need to do that with IDE, because this mainboard has only six sata connectors.

Are there any problems getting IDE to work with the UD5? Everyone seems to say go with the SATA DVD burner for 100% functionality. If that's the case, I suppose I can sacrifice a hard drive, but I'd prefer not to if there's any way around it.
