Get rid of anything IDE (like your optical drive choice) and replace with SATA. IDE is a pain in the ass on Hackintoshes, and doesn't really cost any less than SATA which works perfectly.

 

Replace the mobo with a GA-G31M-ES2L and you should be good to go. The Intel DG31PR is OK for Hackintosh, but the ES2L is better. Without the upgraded firmware OOB, the DG31PR won't boot with the Q8300 or any 45nm CPU. The newer Gigabyte has no such problems, and is easier to set up.

 

If you can, use DDR2 800 RAM rather than 667- but not a big deal.

 

Ditch the modem, unless you actually need one for dialup. Not sure what modems are Mac-compatible, but my guess is it'd be a USB external.
