sc2sick
I recently acquired a Dell Optiplex GX260, 2.4HT, 1GB RAM, Nvidia Quadro (AGP) I am trying to get Leopard onto it, but having no luck. I tried Leo4All, iAtkos, and am presently trying Kalyway but getting boot errors.. I have the iPC iso but don't want to purchase a Dual Layer DVD just for one use if it isn't going to help. I simply burned each of these .iso files to a DVD and put it in the drive and booted from it... am I missing a piece to the puzzle here? http://ipcosx86.wikidot.com/ considering trying this.. any opinions on it VS the other ones or should I just keep trying them until one works? **UPDATE** Booted from kalyway cd using -f at the bootprompt loads a bunch of stuff then says BOOTMGR MISSING PRESS CTRL+ALT+DEL TO REBOOT Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/166598-optiplex-gx260-no-luck-multiple-mixes/ Share on other sites
sc2sick
**UPDATE** Seems that while I had walked away from the PC it did a reboot loop and since the CD isn't the first boot device it tried to default to the empty HDD and that's where the BOOTMGR missing is coming from **UPDATE** newest issue is EBIOS error... I'm reburning Kalyway on the slowest speed by burner will go.... I hope that's the issue Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/166598-optiplex-gx260-no-luck-multiple-mixes/#findComment-1157626 Share on other sites
