I've searched though every forum, every page and can't find ANY recommendations!

Lots of posts of people asking for help with no replies.

 

Anyone have any luck? Thank's SO much!

  • Processor: AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-52 - 1.66GHz (x2), up to 1.6GHz FSB, 2x256KB L2 Cache
  • RAM: 1024MB DDRII
  • Hard Drive: 120GB Serial ATA 5400rpm
  • Screen: 15.4" Widescreen TFT (1280x800 - 16:10)with CrystalBrite Technology
  • Optical Drive: DVD±RW Super Multi
  • Graphics: ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 upto 256MB Shared
  • Wireless LAN: 802.11b/g - Call for advice on Wireless Networking

iDeneb, iPC, XxX, Zepyroth etc etc

 

I know what's out there but this is the point of my post......- i'm asking if there is any success from people as it's harder to install OSX on an AMD and i don't know what one to go for.

 

 

Also what does "no QE/CI" mean? sorry for my ignorance

I'd go with iPC. I haven't tried it on any AMD systems but on the 2 Intel setups I've tried it with, it has been first rate. I made a couple of moronic mistakes but that's not the distro's fault.

 

I believe there are several kernels you can select in iPC and there is definitely a Voodoo one for SSE2 or AMD processors so it should at least work slightly.
