Too good to be true, 10.5.7 on NC10 works almost perfectly

Last night my NC10 (10.5.6) notifies there's new update to OSX, I took a few hours to update. And it looks that this release surprised me more than I expected.

 

1: The built-in LAN is working now, I can finally get ride of my SMC 2209 USB dongle. Actually I'm posting now with the build-in LAN.

 

2: The built-in Mics can now be recognized correctly, I'm try to find out how it works (new to Mac after I got my NC10 in January).

 

Problems still exist in the Video driver and VGA driver, I had to replace the GMA950.kext with the version from 10.5.6.

 

So now my NC10 is almost perfect except:

- Bluetooth can't be turned off

- VGA output not working

 

If anyone knows how to fix these problems, please help me. Thanks in adv.

i just upgrade my nc10 osx 10.5.6 to 10.5.7 combo.

But i find some problem.

first time reboot the nc10 after installathe combo, it cant entry to osx.

second , it entry ,

but the screen is set to 800 x 600.

after install the AppleIntelGMA950.kext.

It show error screen and cant entry to osx.... ><

I upgraded my NC10 as well and after upgrade the screen was 800 x 600. I fixed this by running the video installer from a Wind Driver set I found, worked first time and now it's good.

 

- hope they help if you can get it unstuck first
