yozzozo
Hey, Anyone know what's necessary for getting sleep working on an Acer Aspire 5920g laptop? I have a full retail vanilla 10.5.6 install working, with Chameleon 2.0rc1 as my bootloader (installed on a separate partition). Does anyone have sleep working with vanilla kernels, or is this something that I'd need a custom kernel for. the chipset is Intel PM965 express. -yozzozo Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/166479-acer-5920g-getting-sleep-working-with-vanilla-retail-install-and-chameleon20rc1/ Share on other sites
el_charlie
I have the same problem with 10.5.6 and now with 10.5.7. The computer shuts down to S3 (suspend to RAM) and turns on when I press a key, click the mouse or press the power button, but the video DOESN'T respond at all. I have to reset the machine. That's really anoying. Resume from sleep is the only feature missing on my system. My chipset is Intel G31 and I also have everything vanilla. Cheers!
