c0rk007hck
Final cut pro uses the video card for render, so i would go for a fast card. Synaesthesia
Have to agree with c0rk007hck, it helps a lot. But you can still run it fine on a 7300. Zaap
Hello I have a EP45-UD3P, and now I'm searching a Graphic card, is the 256 MB 7300 GT good for general use, and final cut with dual display ? I'm not play games. Thanks For dual display with both displays using DVI (or DVI to VGA if you need it) get this card: the 8600GTS. At the current price, $30 after rebates, it's a STEAL. It's much better than the 7300GT- for Real Time rendering on the timeline in Final Cut, a better video card does make a huge difference. Also, the 7300GT and many lesser video cards don't support dual DVI display- they only do one DVI, one VGA. Synaesthesia
I have to agree with Zaap, don't even bother with the 7300, get an 8600GTS MINIMUM. And if I may add- the ATI 3870 is now $86 on Newegg, $75 after rebates. This card has true high-end performance on the Mac, for Core Image/Core Video. Synaesthesia
In OS X, the 3870 is the best option. It performs faster as it has better OS X drivers.
