User 287861 Posted May 14, 2009 Share Posted May 14, 2009 I just isntalled iPC 10.5.6 and all is fine but when i restart my laptop its asking me for a keyboard and I cant use my trackpad to move my mouse. Did i miss something on the installation. How can i fix this. it also wont read my usb drive. Danstevens Posted May 14, 2009 Share Posted May 14, 2009 Boot the install DVD again. Click through all of the next buttons until you get to a screen with the option to customise. You'll get a list of Kexts, kernels and other useful things. Go down to "fixes and patches" and look for PS/2 support or something similar. Just select to install the PS/2 keyboard fix even if it's both that aren't working - it will fix both on its own and it and the mouse fix aren't meant to live nicely together. As for sound, you'll probably have to find out what sound card you have before I can help you with that.
