mteahan
I have a bootable backup disk image from my Macbook Pro when I upgraded the hard drive (it will boot from the eSATA card if I let it). Can I modify this disk image to boot my Gateway Quad core pc or do I have to install from retail a DVD? This image was from a mac that had the retiail OS X installed. I am trying to keep all of the installed programs without having to start from scratch. Getting tired of lugging the laptop to and from work everyday. Yes, I have looked, but not found a clear answer on whether this method was viable. Thanks in advance.
