What is some easy to find free software that can shrink my hackintosh MBR partition so i can make a clone to try updates on?

I have had no luck with volume works, couldn't find parted magic live cd 3, and couldn't find a cracked ipartition 3... the easy to find ipartitions don't work with MBR.

Help?

One of the most feature-rich utilities I know is Parted Magic, a Linux LiveCD. However I don't know if it can shrink a HFS+ partion:

:D:hysterical: First of all, I find it amazing that you'll question Alessandro17, without checking his credentials!! Secondly, If you knew anything, Linux=Ubuntu(in some weird way)

GParted is a live CD like Ubuntu but has the correct tools to do partition editing! and yes it will do HFS+

Next time maybe you should read up before you jump to any assumptions!

but that's for linux, how am I supposed to use it with hackintosh? I could go and install ubuntu and everything, but is there some other way?

I was using the term ubuntu synonymously with linux, I just didn't know what a live cd was...

Thanks, it worked :)
