Hello,

I installed chameleon rc 1 and now I get the following error.

boot0: MBR

boot0: done

boot1: error

But when i go to my bios settings and change the sata operation to raid autodetec/ ata the bootloader loads I see my windows 7 partition

and mac but my mac partition crashes@ waiting for root device.

My computer is a xps420 mac os x always booted under raid.

But now when I change it to autodetect/ ata it does not load.

SOMEBODY PELASE HELP ME...How can I fix this issue?

Can it be done through windows?

Try to do it manually; the installer is not 100% good.

Check this tutorial

Do i have to re-install mac? i cant access it because it is not loading. Anyway to bypass chamelon at boot?

I need to figure out away to access mac withut reinstalling.

No, you can boot your HD with your install DVD.

Start up one time, and go to Disk utility. Right Click on the drive you need to boot, and choose Information.

After diskidentifier is the boot device you need (like disk0s1, or disk1s2, or disk1s3) remember it.

Reboot with your DVD in the driver, and press F8, type in :

rd=<the thing you remembered> -v

When it's booted, you can install Chamaleon manually.

Now you don't need your DVD anymore.
