ericft
I just received the MP-2W PCI-E mini PCI card adapter from www.hwtools.net for use with mini pci cards in a desktop computer, purchased an apple airport branded broadcom 4321MC card and placed it into the computer. The green light on the card comes on but my computer doesn't recognize the card. no airport come up in the either the menu bar or the network settings. I have tried the broadcom enabler.sh, reinstalling the apple broadcom kext but without success.. i am trying to put my desktop computer on my wireless n airport extreme network but have been met with some difficulty. The searches i have done in the form have only pointed me towards teh broadcom enabler script and reinstalling a version of familynetworking.kext. however, i'm not sure where to get the working version of the kext. If any one has had success creating this aftermarket wireless n solution for their hackintosh, please let me know what worked for you. thanks. kmikase
You're bios is blocking the wireless card. I had this card in my laptop before and it was working without any drivers. Have you tried in Windows ?
