iAnthony
Installed iDeneb 10.5.6 inside VMWare Workstation 6.5 on a Vista 64 Host. Everything works perfectly except for sound. I am only looking for two-channel sound to work so HDA is not necessary. I have seen several references in this forum to Maxxuss and VMWare 1371 drivers for 10.4, but the links are all out of date and the files can no longer be found. Has anyone been able to find updated drivers for this configuration? Thanks! -------------------------------------------------------------------- HW is ICH9 with underlying physical sound device as Realtek HD Audio. iAnthony
It's the same for me Did you solve it? The sound on mine is clear. It may be a CPU or Memory performance issue on yours. I have the VM set for Dual CPU at 3GHz each and 2GB memory. Also, if your processor supports VT (Virtualization Technonlogy) be sure thats enabled in the BIOS.
