insert_here
Hey guys, Just recently finished triple booting my HP nc6120 with XP, 7, and OS X (10.5.6) and fixed some settings. My question, is there any way to edit the list of partitions in the darwin boot screen? I have disk0s1 as XP, disk0s2 as Win 7, and disk0s3 as OS X. HD(0,1) boots into the windows boot screen where I can choose either "older windows version" (XP) or Windows 7. HD(0,2) does nothing. Darwin states something's wrong with the mbr or something. Is there anyway to delete my second entry listed in the menu w/o harming the partition and just have (0,1) & (0,3) listed? Here's a pic of the darwin screen for others wondering: And here's my leopard configuration on my nc6120 for those interested: iPC 10.5.6 Kernel - 9.5.0 Voodoo Kernel Video - Intel GMA900 Chipset - LegacyAppleIntelPIIXATA Audio - AC97 Wireless - Broadcom Driver (I have BCM4318) Fixes & Patches: - PCIMCAFamily by chunchun (gets rid of 5~6 minute boot) - keyboard fix and the .DMG mounting issue can be fixed with this link -> http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=150871 Haven't tested ethernet and restarting doesn't work. ccea01
I also have a nc6120 but I'm having no luck installing iPC. I use the -v mode as part of the installer and it simply gets to a place where it says 'unable to mount /dev/disk0s1' and never progresses from there. I have tried both iDeneb 1.4 and iPC 10.5.6 and still can't get into the actual installation portion. Any advice?
