My computer is an Inspiron 530 bought from DELL & the Ethernet card is an "intel 825xx 10/100". I spent hours seeking all over the web a damn kext which could make my internet available on this PC. biged Posted August 14, 2009 Share Posted August 14, 2009 Dude i know how you feel. I have iPC 10.5.6 on my computer (Same one as yours) and I have the same issue. My problem is the OS claims I don't have and ethernet plugged into the Ethernet port, but I do. I haven't been able to find any drivers for it. I think im gonna just have to bite the bullet and buy a compatible ethernet card for it. It's too bad. Everything else works perfectly.
