n00b_hackintosh Posted May 10, 2009 Share Posted May 10, 2009 Right, so I have 10.5.6 working via an iDeneb DVD on an HP DC7100 (3Ghz P4, 2Gb, GMA900). Had to do some manual kext patching using OSXTools and some other bits for audio, network card and .dmg mounting crashes.. Video is 100% good, even plays movie trailers etc in Frontrow. I now appear to have a working install. iTunes etc all applications seem to work. I'm a total noob, and "google is my friend" has got me this far. SO, WHAT NOW? Can I use this think like a normal Mac and just install all application/OS updates from Apple? or do I need to be selective with what updates I install?
