I cannot get the DVD drive to mount once OSX starts. I have a Intel Q35 chipset, and everything else works but that. My HDD's are sata but my DVD Burner is IDE. I Installed the intel ICH10 Sata support chipset drivers upon install but still not working. I Have a usb dvd drive that works for now, but i would really like to get the internal dvd drive to work. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Pretzels

Its the DQ35JO Mother Board from Intel. I cannot find chipset drivers for this board for Mac. I will keep trying to look for them, maybe i will try to look for PATA specifically for this board.

Thanks for the help, any info is helpful in this situation so again i thank you very much.

google is so useful, more people should use it.

This is your PATA controller:

04:00.0 IDE interface [0101]: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88SE6101 single-port PATA133 interface [11ab:6101] (rev b1)

You need AppleVIAATA.kext.
