PC in a Powermac G5 Case Mod

Hi all. A little wile ago (about a month or so) I sat down and ordered a Power Mac G5 case, and a bunch of Pc parts (listed below) and after about 3 weeks of working built what I have now deemed the Power Hack 940. Here are the parts inside it.

 

AMD Phenom II 940 OC to 3.57GHz (cooled with a cooler master V8)

AMD 4870 with 1GB of DDR5 Memory

4Gb of Kingston Ram

Nvidia M3n78-Em motherboard

1Tb Western Digital Green HD

320Gb Western Digital 7200 RPM hardrive

4 fans: 120mmx2 Turbine fans, 2x92mm scythe fans

All fans are controlled on a 6 channel fan controller

650 Watt PC Power and cooling Power supply

PowerMac G5 case

Samsung 18x DL DVD burner

 

 

Now for the good stuff. In osx (yes its a Hackintosh) the system scores an amazing 6800 in Geekbench. In windows it scores a 1650 in 3dmark 06 and has no issue playing Crysis maxed out, World in conflict, or company of heroes.

 

The system described above will only ship with a copy of windows 7 Beta, Pm me if you want to ask about having a copy of vista and ill explain. (dont worry they are fully licensed, and legal discs with only one install (on this machine and thats it))

 

Now if you want to run osx 86 on this it, it works but its a bit glitchy sometimes. The first thing is OSX 86 does not really work right with the AMD 4870 but that will change soon, however if thats what you want to do, i do have an Nvidia 8800GTS 512 that works perfectly with osx 86, that im willing to swap out or sell with it. I also have and am willing to sell a 128 GB SSD that works perfectly in osx (no slowdowns from writes) and boots osx in under 8 seconds on this system.

 

Pricing depends on what configuration, I have no issue pre-installing OSX 86 on it for you, (as i have bought 3 copy's of leopard and only use two, but of course that will cost a bit more because you will need at least the 8800GTS) If you just want a PC your welcome to ask about a copy of Xp or vista being installed on it, but PM me so i can explain that.
