mattodefou
@rocksteady tnx for the link, i hope i'll manage to do something about this. So, are they just recognised wrong or they also work at that freq? Any way to check that also? rocksteady
they just get recognized as being of a different frequency true speed is what your mobo/bios sees it's a hack afterall Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/165516-memory-modules-problem/#findComment-1151219 Share on other sites
mattodefou
Chameleon 2.0 did that. After I installed it lots of things changed in the "About this Mac". Damn I was using v1.0 before 2.0 came out ..... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/165516-memory-modules-problem/#findComment-1151226 Share on other sites
Beerkex'd
It's easy to fix, all you need to do is set the correct properties for your ram in /extra/smbios.plist.
