READ ALL BEFORE YOU ACT - and use on your own risk. Worked for me anyway.

If you have only 1 HD it should be easy, but with many HD's and ACHI on your OSX, you must upgrade XP to use ACHI before you make Darwin to boot all. There are some registerfiles for that, but i dont really know your system so goooooogle.

i did it so that i used Ubuntu Linux LIVE CD.

Basicly you just do like this :

FIRST use terminal :

sudo su

apt-get install hsfprogs hsfutils

there should be a automated download, if not open packet manager and check that all repositories are on.

Check that Gparted now has support for HSF+

THEN:

If you have 100GB HD and it's all OSX. Use Gparted in Linux Live cd to cut it after 20GB and make rest empty.

Then MOVE your OSX so that there is 20GB space BEFORE it. After that (takes long time) do a new FAT32 partition on that space. Format rest to FAT or NTFS for use from both OS.

At this point you have SDA2 first and SDA1 (original OSX forst part) as second, but this must be fixed or MBR must be resetted. Close Gparted.

Use terminal on Ubuntu :

sudo su

fdisk /dev/sdX <- this is your sda (?) as shown in Gparted earlier

x go to expert mode

F

W

Exit

OPen Gparted and check that FAT has now SDA1 and your OSX has SDA2 and rest is SDA3.

Close Live cd

Install that devils work from Bill "666" Gates.

You should be able to boot to XP.

Then just use your Kaly DVD and boot in singlemode ( at darwin use -s) and :

fdisk -e /dev/disk1

flag 2 <- osx now

update

write

quit

reboot

Remove Kaly and you should have Darwin Boot with list like this

Windoze XP

OSX

REST

You know rest, update to Chameleon - it's darn good.

If you wanna have Linux too, just make one partition as empty space, install it there and install on that partition only (not to 1 partition)

Greetings

Kari
