syn_boy
Just to let you guys know that I almost gave up on the Osx86 install. Let me warn you that this is not an easy task. I'm a full time IT programmer and developer and this OSX installation really kicks me in the balls. I've gone from an empty intel server motherboard to using the Gigabyte G31M-ES2L board. This board is more compatible. How I managed to do it: Gigabyte G31M-ES2L board Sata Hard Drive IDE DVD-ROM iDeneb 1.4 Installation disk. Downloaded and burned at lowest speed using DVD+R .. DVD-R doesn't work for me(took me 20 disc later to realize that!) Don't need ACPI configuration in the BIOS Updated the BIOS to v9 using a flash drive by pressing the END key at boot screen. Available from giga-byte.com USB keyboard and mouse works LAN works Sounds works Video works but limited to 1024x768 unless you install a new video card All of this works out of the box, no patching, editing text files, etc... This seems to be the easiest and most straightforward installation for the OSX.
