Q6600 single core problem on JAS 10.5.4

Okay guys

 

I had problems installing installing kalyway 10.5.2 so i just ditched that and went for JAS 10.5.4. I went through the install and customized it but i wasn't too sure of what packages to install. Got Leopard installed okay so happy days but the only thing is it won't boot with out 'cpus=1' command at the darwin bootloader. I don't have any ethernet, sound or graphics support out of the box. But i think there may be kexts and stuff for them all but maybe you guys could let me know if there out there anyway. First of all i really need to know how to take advantage of all of the four cores and have it set up so that i can use them straight from boot without any commands in the bootloader. The specs of my pc are:

 

MSI P45-NEO

Intel Q6600 G0 3.0GHZ (OC)

Corsair DDR2 800MHZ 2x2 Gig

320GB Seagate SATA

NVIDIA 9600GT
