bossplaya
hello ppl i have a probl with my new laptop - it won`t wake up from hibernate when running on batteries! i use the power management to send the lap to hibernate, when the battery reaches 75%, and at a fixed hour, i schedule a task to start up the laptop to do something - download for example, or scandisk, or whatsoever. there, @ scheduled task, when adding, there`s a checkbox saying don`t start when running on batteries, or smth like that - and it`s not checked! all the rest is ok too, i`ve checked. and the lap goes to hibernate when the battery power indicator reaches 75%, but it never wakes up / resume windows, when on batteries! why ? when the power adapter is pluged in, everything`s just fine. i suppose that the problem is about the os, wich is win xp home ed, the same that is on my other laptop, asus. the thing is i did the settings 100% correct, i know that, and i double checked. the asus resumes just fine from hibernation on batteries, but this dell doesn`t. i even reinstalled windows (win xp home ed - the one that came with the lap) and still no luck - what can i do more ? if someone can help, please post. thanks!
