pcmxa Posted May 5, 2009 Share Posted May 5, 2009 All, I did a reboot with my Lacie 250GB external USB drive still mounted. The system hung on the POST and would not boot. (Couldn't see any error message). I turned the drive off, and when 10.5.5 restarted, the drive shows as having no files in the finder even though it shows 170GB of occupied space ofn the drive. I am using PTDD to restore the files on the Vista OS of this dual boot machine, but wondered if anyone knew what might have caused the disappearence of all the files?
