ricriley
I got this problem, but this was because I installed the wrong video drivers. How can I revert back to the default setting without reinstalling OSX? pikelet650
i am assuming you are using a laptop. am i correct? if you are, try doing this. When the screen goes black, unplug the laptop from the wall so that it is running on battery power, and close the lid. then leave it for around 20 minutes, untill it goes onto standby. after it has gone into standby, plug it in and open the lid, it should come up straight away. once you have done that i can't help any further because i have never gotten past the country select screen :S hope that works for you regards, pikelet650 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/165092-black-screen/#findComment-1150215 Share on other sites
