Am currently running windows ultimate 64 bit on my PC which has a core 2 quad 2.33ghz processor with 8 GB DDR2 1333 Mhz RAM, i firstly wanna know if MAC X 64bit will run on my PC, are there any beta builds like windows7 i can experiment with before i make up my mind to buy a MAC, will there be any problems with drivers or does MAC have an automatic easy driver update like the Vista

a PC with OSX is called hackintosh, so basically you have to "hack" a lot of drivers :)

mac os includes by default all drivers needed by any mac hardware.

for pc you should be very lucky to have the same chipset on mb, video, audio, lan to make it work by default.

anyhow you could be lucky to find all your drivers on 10.5.6 hackintosh distributions, they include a lot of pc componets in installation menu.

mac's automatic upate not recommended at all for hackintosh, for each OS upgrade you have to check the tutorials on forum before.

at least you can use the original osx vanilla kernel on your pc, for video, lan, audio you have to check on forum if they are supported.
