Beerkex'd Posted May 4, 2009 Share Posted May 4, 2009 The sound plays from ROM on a real mac. That's why hackintoshes have no startup sound. There's a start up sound utility out there somewhere, use google to find it. Then google 'mac start up sound' to find the sound file itself. It kind of sucks though, as it doesn't play the sound until the OS finishes loading.
