alfonzotan
Hi, folks. I have an ancient (circa 2000) 10-gig iPod, I believe second generation. It predates the dock connector, and only has a Firewire port. I haven't used it in years (the audio jack gave out), but it occurred to me today that it'd be a decent portable hard drive. Problem is, my Hackintosh (Asrock ConRoe 1333/DVI mobo, 10.5.5 retail install with a generic Firewire PCI card) can't see it. A "real" Mac sees it with no problem, and I restored the iPod back to factory settings. Still no dice. I have a couple of external FW drives hooked up (a hard drive and a DVD-R drive), and the Hackintosh sees them with no problems. Any suggestions?
